A talk and illustrated slide show on THE LOIRE, not only a river, an outstanding cultural heritage given by Francine Rouanet-Democrate.
The talk was held at the JUBILEE PAVILION on Friday 10th January at 8.00pm
In a lively evening Francine gave a talk on her extensive knowledge and experience of her native France. She took us on an exploration of the history of the Loire and its people from its source to its estuary mouth. The river is the longest in France, a UNESCO world heritage site, the cradle of the French language.
